Paddle to Veveří Castle

Push off from Sokolské koupaliště, paddle northeast, and Veveří's sandstone walls rise through the trees like a pop-up book. Morning water is glass. Oaks and herons mirror themselves. By the time you bump the castle jetty your forearms smell of lakewater and sunscreen.

Cycle the Reservoir Greenway
